Privacy Policy

Race Pacer is a HYROX split-planning app published by Andrej Sazdovski. The short version: your times and plans never leave your phone. There is no account. Race Pacer records anonymous usage statistics so we can see which parts of the app people actually use, and nothing it records identifies you.

What the app stores, and where

Your goal finish time, your logged station and run times, your division, and the plans the app builds from them are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. The only things that leave your device are the anonymous analytics events and feature-board votes described below.

No account, and no cross-app tracking

Race Pacer has no sign-up and no login. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts or advertising identifier, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. The app contains no advertising SDK.

Anonymous usage analytics

The app records which screens you open and which actions you take — for example that a plan was built or race mode was started — using PostHog, hosted in the European Union. This tells us which features are worth building on and where people get stuck.

Each install is given a random identifier that is not linked to your name, email address or Apple ID. Your split times and race data stay on your device and are not sent to analytics. See PostHog's privacy policy.

Feature requests

If you open the feature request board, the app connects to Google Firebase to load the list and record your vote. Signing in is anonymous — no email address and no account. If you submit a request, the text you write is stored and shown publicly to other users of the app, so please do not include anything private. See Firebase's privacy information.

Permissions the app does not ask for

Race Pacer requests no system permissions at all. It does not use your location, camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, health data, or motion data.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. To do that, RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app-user identifier and your purchase receipt from Apple. This does not include your name or email address. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

We never receive your payment details. Apple does not share them with us.

Children

Race Pacer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your control

Because your data lives on your device, you can remove all of it at any time by deleting the app. Deleting the app also abandons the random analytics identifier; nothing links a reinstall to a previous one.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
