By downloading or using Race Pacer ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app is

Race Pacer builds pacing plans for HYROX-format fitness races. It estimates split times from a goal finish time using a model built on published finish distributions, adjusted by the times you log.

Not medical or professional advice

Race Pacer is a planning tool, not a coach and not a medical device. Its outputs are estimates and ranges, not instructions. Training for and competing in high-intensity fitness racing carries risk of injury. You are responsible for your own training decisions. Consult a qualified physician or coach before beginning any training programme, and stop if you feel unwell.

Estimates, not guarantees

Every target the app shows is an estimate with a range. We do not guarantee that following a plan will produce any particular finish time, result, or outcome.

Subscriptions

Race Pacer offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by territory.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it in any way that breaks applicable law.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
